It is my pleasure to welcome you to Patrick Henry Elementary School; an AdvancedED accredited Department of Defense Dependent School, where you will find a very warm and welcoming environment for both students and parents in the Heidelberg community. By providing an informal yet professional atmosphere, we hope you will stop by and visit us in the office, meet the teachers, and help the children by volunteering.
This is my first year at PHES, and I am excited about the phenomenal staff we have here. It is our goal to provide a safe and nurturing environment where students can achieve to their highest potential. We have a staff dedicated to ensuring that the students at our school are challenged by the rigorous content standards through meaningful, researched based instructional strategies in at all grade levels. It is so exciting to be a part of such an energetic group with a wealth of experience.
Not only are students meeting the rigorous academic challenges each day at PHES, these students are developing invaluable life skills to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Whether students are playing on the soccer field or spending time discovering new uses for a laptop computer, they are certainly learning important lessons that will help them later in life.
